There’s no specific dress code. However, we believe that the Bible teaches the principle of modesty. You’ll find most people wear a more traditional Sunday dress when they attend our services, but come as you are and we will be sure to make you feel welcome.
We have convenient parking available right next to our facilities including handicapped parking with wheelchair access. Our church greeters are happy to assist with any special needs that you may have.
We have Sunday school classes for children from birth to 6th grade each Sunday at 9:30 am. During our 10:30 am worship service, the children will be dismissed from the auditorium to our children’s choir where they will learn great Bible songs and hear age-appropriate Bible lessons. On Wednesday nights, we offer an exciting Master Clubs program for children ages 3 to 12.
We want your first visit with us to be a very pleasant one. As you walk in the front door you will be greeted by our friendly volunteers who will be able to assist you with any questions you might have and can show you to our auditorium or a class that you might want to attend.
If you arrive before the service starts, you will notice our auditorium is filled with plenty of comfortable seats. There are no reserved seats, so you may sit anywhere. Many people will be greeting one another during this time.
Services generally last about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Our worship services are a time of joyful worship and praise, with a variety of traditional songs provided by our choir, soloist, and instrumentals.
At the end of his message, Pastor Dale invites anyone who does not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ to put their faith in Him. This is also a time for personal prayer with God over changes we may need to make in our lives. Counseling is also available for spiritual needs.
Savannah River Baptist Church does believe giving is a Biblical principle and we do encourage it. However, our guest should not feel under any obligation to participate.
Absolutely! We believe that the heartbeat of the local church is worldwide missions and starting new churches. We aim to reach our community with the gospel of Jesus Christ as well as send out missionaries to every part of the world. We also hold an annual Missions Conference, and frequently have guest missionaries to speak in our services.
